Hi, I'm joki, apprentice electrician for Wolverhampton Homes. In this video i'll show you how to change a bathroom lightbulb like this one. The first thing you need to do is get a pozi head screwdriver and unscrew the cover. Sometimes the fittings don't have screws and you will need a flat head screwdriver to prise open the cover which will pull down.
This one has screws so you need a pozi head screwdriver. Always make sure the power is turned off at the switch before you unscrew the cover. If you are not sure you should turn it off at the consumer unit at the board. the lamp just pulls out at the base by pulling down and you can look at what type of bulb it is you need. This one is a two pin, some are four pin.
Bathroom Light Bulbs
This one is two pin as you can see and it is Watt. This one is two pin as you can see and it is Watt. It will tell you on the bulb what wattage it is. You can purchase a new bulb from an electrical wholesaler or from screw fix or B and Q. Once you have a new bulb you can clip it back into the fitting. Push the new bulb back in and screw the cover back on. Once the cover is secure you can turn the power back on.
